Bachi Karkaria is one of India's best known journalists and a media trainer in India and abroad. She writes two popular columns: the satirical 'Erractica' in the Times of India, and 'Giving Gyan', advice to the lovelorn and life-torn in the Mumbai Mirror. Her latest book is the critically acclaimed bestseller, “In Hot Blood: The Nanavati Case That Shook India” Her specialisations are public health and urbanisation. She was the first Indian board member of the World Editors Forum, and is on the advisory board of the India AIDS initiative of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
